This is one of those sales you just can’t miss! The entire estate of Vivyanne Thomas will be sold over a four sale, starting this Thursday. She was a self-made millionaire, fashion designer and accomplished artist. She had impeccable taste as you will see by her immense collections.

Bio by her daughter: Vivyanne Thomas was a self-made woman with immeasurable talent. She was born on a farm in South Dakota in 1926. She was the last sibling of eight and the first to be born in the new farm house with indoor plumbing built on family homestead land.  Her grandparents came to the United States as master blacksmiths in the 1800's.

She left the farm life after high school with no savings to experience the excitement of the big city. With her talent alone she became a successful fashion designer working at many of the big design houses in the 1960's. She became so skilled at clothing fitting that she took her talents to local universities. She taught at Brooks, Fashion Institute, UCLA, Woodbury University and Trade Tech. While working as a professor she continued to expand her talents as a painter specializing in porcelain painting. She painted incredible flowers and striking portraits.  She won many awards for her paintings and was recognized for her creative accomplishments.
